Very good condition what we believe to be an original, early production Marlin Model 39, items of notes:
-Upper tang marked Mod.39 (not 39A)
-Low serial number, marked “5110” with no letter prefix
-Octagonal Barrel
-The receiver does not have the distinctive case hardened finish, I’m not sure if this was an original finish or if it was refinished at some point
-Flip up tang sight marked “MARBLE GLADSTONE MICH.” on one side and “PAT.CCT.20-03, NOV.14-05” on other side
-Front sight is marked Lyman, not sure if this is original or not but appears correct
-No JM stamp on barrel
-Comes with soft case
