Reminder: as students return to UofM, federal law requires that anyone wishing to purchase a firearm from a licensed dealer, *must* be able to provide a government issued form of identification that includes their current residence address. This is not your "legal" address where your mail goes to while away at university, it is where you are currently living on/around campus. If your government issued ID does not match where you are currently residing, we cannot transfer you a firearm.
Another reminder: falsifying a 4473 is a federal felony punishable by up to a $250,000 fine and/or 10 years in prison.
